ASSISTANT / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – Psychiatry 
                 
Howard University in the nation’s capital invites applications for two (2) tenure-track, assistant / associate professor positions, to begin immediately 
                                      
Candidates are sought for full time academically oriented psychiatrists to work in either:
                        
·        our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and community based sites which is part of our developing community psychiatry focus, or
·        our consultation and liaison service in a fully affiliated acute medical-surgical hospital.  
                                  
Preference will be given for an addiction psychiatrist for one position. Ample opportunities exist for services and biomedical research through existing grants, and for teaching resident and medical students.   Candidate must be eligible licensure in the District of Columbia, Board Eligible or Certified in the practice of adult / child psychiatry, and b a citizen of the United States or a permanent resident alien. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
